Why use Strange Dog for apparel branding?
We can provide three different types of apparel printing/branding, all done right here in our shop in Ohakune. We provide consistent high quality prints with super fast turnaround!

Single Colour Vinyl
Heat press vinyl is a durable and versatile product. The design is cut from a single-colour vinyl and pressed onto your garment. Vinyl is great for simple logos and decals, and team names and numbers.
There are no minimum quantities for ordering vinyl prints, and we hold many colours in stock so the turnaround is fast.
Vinyl works well for shapes and line drawings, but isn’t recommended for highly detailed or small prints.
If you can supply the file as a vector (.svg) then there is no setup cost.
Setup of most designs is $40, but may differ if the file is complex or changes are requested.
Single colour vinyl prints up to 30x30cm are $15.
Prints smaller than A5 are $10.
Full colour printing
Full colour transfers are vibrant, durable, and great quality. This our only method that is capable of gradients and shading.
Because of the manufacturing method, ordering transfers in smaller quantities can be expensive, and the most economical price is for 10 or more of each print.
Full colour print pricing varies by quantity and turnaround time.

Embroidery
Embroidery is a great product for a professional look. We have threads in almost every colour. Embroidery is best on hoodies, workwear or caps, and isn’t well suited for thin, waterproof, or multi-layered garments.
The digitising fee for a supplied file starts at $45.
Pricing is based on stitch count of the digitised file, and varies from $9.60 for under 5000 stitches, to $24 for over 20,000 stitches.
